Out of the many blessings God gives His people, we give back to Him an expression of our gratitude.
“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.” — Psalm 24:1-2
When you tithe, you’re trusting God with the blessings He has given you. We give because God first gave to us.
Your gifts, tithes, and offerings directly support the mission and ministry of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Simply put, your gifts help us meet our needs each month, from reaching out in ministry to supporting our staff and maintaining our facilities.
Ways to Give …
Online
Redeemer can receive gifts online by credit card or by withdrawal from your bank account. Likewise, you can choose to give a one-time gift or to establish a recurring gift at an interval of your choosing. To give online, use our button and follow the simple instructions.
In Person
While we appreciate your on-line gift, we would LOVE to see you at services if you are in the neighborhood. You can bring cash or checks to any of our services; just drop your gift in the offering basket on the table just as you enter the sanctuary. Please be sure to include your full name and address on your envelope or check.
By Mail
Whether as a one-time special gift, or on a recurring basis, you are always welcome to mail a check to the church office at 2507 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78201. Please indicate in the memo line, or with a note, the purpose of your gift so it can be directed to the proper fund.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my online donation?
When you give online, an electronic confirmation acknowledgment is automatically sent to the e-mail address you provide in the giving form. For contributions where no goods or services were received in return, the acknowledgment serves as your tax receipt.
In certain situations, Redeemer is prohibited by IRS regulations from acknowledging a donation as a qualified tax-deductible gift. These situations are outlined in IRS Publication 526 and typically involve donations that do not directly benefit the budgeted work of the LCMS or its programs. Online donation options are consistently tax-deductible.
