Series: Pentecost

Bible Passage(s): Isaiah 51:4-6

Sermon Date: November 21, 2021

GOD IS, GOD WILL, GOD DOES, GOD HAS, GOD CONTINUES…

These apply to the lessons from God as we remember the first coming and prepare for the second; His return to take the Church home.

Isaiah 51:4-6 “Give attention to me, my people, and give ear to me, my nation; for a law will go out from me, and I will set my justice for a light to the peoples. My righteousness draws near, my salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples; the coastlands hope for me, and for my arm they wait.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and they who dwell in it will die in like manner; but my salvation will be for ever, and my righteousness will never be dismayed.”

HOW THEN SHALL WE BE LIVING IN THANKSGIVING?

Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me — practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”
