    The world is experiencing frontline fatigue because of Covid-19. Even people who don’t have the infection are fatigued by the constant demands to stay safe. We have no normal life right now. But God brings the gospel of peace through His Word; the life of an ever-living Saviour who gifts us an overcoming faith. Our daily immersion in His Word to pray, praise and give thanks equip us to meet the daily challenges.

    On All Saints Day we remember those family members and friends who have passed into glory. Their works of service to Jesus are complete and their rest is forever. They modeled Jesus in their life as do we that we may share a new hope with those around us.

    The world’s people model many others such as athletes, rock stars, hollywood actors and actresses and the like.

    What kind of person do you want to be? A Jesus kind of person or an worldly kind of person?

    On October 31, 1517 a man named Martin Luther proclaimed to his church that authority exists only in God’s word by grace through faith. He was condemned for heresy against the Pope and excommunicated. But Luther’s writings urging people to seek God in their lives for full forgiveness ignited a firestorm that exists today. Yet, each day is a day of re-formation by God in our lives as we live a gospel witness for others.

    Matthew 22:1-14 gives us the right response to the wedding banquet of eternal life and the results of rejection of that invitation. The last of this gospel tell us of someone who tried to sneak into heaven dressed in their own clothing design of self-righteousness and the resultant action was condemnation and everlasting death.
