Devotion for March 19, 2020

2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”

While we live in and through this global pandemic spreading rapidly across the U.S. let us daily exercise; take care of your body, go for walks in your neighborhood. And, let us exercise our faith with prudence, peacefulness and prayer in our lives.

Do contact your neighbors tell them you are praying for them and if they have needs to let you know.

We’re all in this together and this disease is no respecter of age, economic situation, political standing, ethnicity, religion, or anything else.

Ephesians 5:20 “…always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We thank God for those who are listening to the healthcare professionals and in love maintaining social distance which includes staying home with exceptions for food, pharmaceuticals and fuel.

Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

You are loved with an everlasting love. As Christians we know the end-game in Christ. Whenever we pass from this world we pass into his eternal presence.

Stay encouraged!
